Tyler Automatics was founded in 1948 by Steven Kowaleski and more recently owned and managed by George Kowaleski. BAR-WORK Manufacturing, a subsidiary of Steinen Holdings, Inc., has established a high standard of excellence in quality and service since 1951.
In early 2017, Tyler (Thomaston CT) merged with BAR-WORK (Waterbury CT) to form “TBW Precision Machined Components”, consolidating the two complementary businesses under one roof, to provide greater economies of scale and broaden our capabilities.
